1. Discussion
Karl reported that all bar one of the checkins for reduced memory size are done. The remaining one is some changes to CQL, It is not clear that the benefits of this change are worth the effort. The ReadMe describing the static build process is ready to checkin and that will complety the current static memory reduction work.
Some thought is now being given to reducing dynamic memory size. There are some issues here, for example relating the possibility of very large objects. The open issues will be listed while we try to work on those issues where we have some known solutions.
Martin will create a wiki page for the project.
The action item on everyone is to input information on their limitations, etc for adminstering systems.
Karl and Mike will write the next PEP on issues and potential solutions for reducing dynamic memory.
