The call was spent entirely on review of status in preparation for 2.10 Source Freeze as follows:
2.10 Target Bugs
Reviewed current target bug list. There are only 2. One is in vote now and the second Karl stated that he had an issue with the strategy (used glob as a seach mechanism rather than regex) but would upload the proposed code for comment.
2.10 Blocker Bugs
We have a number of open blocker bugs today. Marek also noted that they are tracking another potential bug with multiple cmpi providers but have not yet filed a bug. Marek agreed to file a bug and probably mark it BLOCKER for now.
We noted that there are several very old bugs still marked as blockers including:
2.10 Work PEPS
- PEP 311 - Not moved. This is Mike Brasher's PEP but Karl will take responsibility for moving the PEP
- PEP 346 - This is the original SCMO concept PEP. Marek will check to be sure that there is nothing in this PEP that is not in the Approved Functional PEP and they we will mark the PEP as obsoleted by the Functional PEP and archive it.
2.10 Release PEPS
Karl proposed that we drop two of the PEPs since today all they do is point back to cvs for the information. Verbally everybody on the call agreed. We can just as easily put the pointers into the Release Notes PEP. Karl will issue an email on this to get any other comments and if it is OK, we will
a. Put a note in the PEPs that they are obsoleted and the info in in the release notes.
b. Update the release notes with the information.
c. Archive the 2 PEPs.
2.10 Release status
We still have open bugs in:
- Blocker list
- Target list -2 bugs today
- Approved list.
We will set the source freeze tag when we have reduced these 3 lists to zero entries.
